ICCVS staff has secured 178000,00 PLN funding from the UGrants – the UG Programme of Small Grants. In the second edition, UGrants-start have been granted to dr Jakub Faktor, dr Umesh Kalathiya, dr Sachin Kote, dr Małgorzata Kurkowiak, dr Monikaben Padariya, and dr Artur Piróg, and UGrants-advanced have been won by dr Sachin Kote and dr Alicja Sznarkowska. Congratulations to all Laureates!
The programme is an action implemented at the University of Gdańsk within the framework of the Initiative of the Research University of Excellence (IDUB). UGrants offers funding for preliminary research and preparatory activities aimed at planning a research project and acquiring funds for its implementation. With several types of mini-programmes UGrants target the needs of researchers at various levels of their career.
UGrants-start aim to offer support for doctoral students and young scientists in publishing in high-impact scientific journals. UGrants-advanced support researchers in increasing the efficiency of obtaining European grants, including ERC grants, and publishing in high-quality scientific journals. Funding is granted in a competition within the University.
