DiaNA Project in Forbes Poland

As the NSCLC Diagnostics – Algorithm (DIANA) project approaches its completion, an article presenting the project’s objectives and innovative approach to lung cancer diagnostics has been published in Forbes Poland.

The article, entitled “Precyzja i uwzględnienie płci pacjenta to przyszłość diagnostyki raka” discusses the importance of precision medicine and personalized diagnostic approaches in oncology. Particular attention is given to the role of biological sex as a factor that may contribute to improving diagnostic accuracy and supporting more effective treatment strategies for cancer patients.

The publication outlines the scientific rationale behind the DIANA project and highlights the growing importance of individualized approaches in modern healthcare, especially in the context of lung cancer diagnostics.

The article is available online (in Polish) and was also published in the June 2026 print edition of Forbes Poland.

As the DIANA project enters its final stage, the ICCVS team is preparing to share more information about the project’s outcomes, key findings, and their potential implications for the future of lung cancer diagnostics and personalized medicine.

The implementation of the NSCLC Diagnostics – Algorithm (DIANA) project is supported by funding from the Medical Research Agency within the framework of the competition for scientific entities to carry out applied research in the biomedical area (2024 ABM/03/KPO) within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Component D Efficiency, Accessibility and Quality of the Health System, Investment D3.1.1 Comprehensive development of research in medical and health sciences.
