We are happy to report that the ICCVS PhD student Mikołaj Kocikowski has been awarded a PhD degree. The public defense took place on 12 April 2024.  Mikołaj successfully defended his thesis on “Of Dogs and Men: Tracing Immune Checkpoint Signatures Across Cancers and Unleashing the Potential of Canine PD-1 Antibodies”.

Research was done under the supervision of prof. dr Theodore Hupp and dr Javier Alfaro and reviewed by prof. Deborah W. Knapp, DVM – Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, USA, prof. David Goodlett – Biochemistry & Microbiology Department, University of Victoria, Canada, prof. dr Aleksandra Pawlak-  Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Wroclaw University of Life Sciences.
