The International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science (ICCVS) University of Gdańsk, in collaboration with the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, Maritime University of Gdynia, Naval Academy, Experyment Science Centre, and Hevelianum, is thrilled to participate in this year’s Pomeranian Researchers’ Night (PRN) 2024!
This exciting event offers a unique opportunity to meet scientists and explore the wonders of science. PRN kicks off at 4 p.m. at the Medical University of Gdańsk’s Sports Centre, where representatives from partner institutions and local authorities will be among the honoured guests at the opening ceremony.
The evening will begin with an inaugural lecture titled “Breast Cancer in Artificial Intelligence Networks,” presented by Dr. Maciej Bobowicz from the Department of Radiology at MUG. Following this, Hevelianum will amaze the audience with a series of inspiring demonstrations. Audiences can also enjoy an innovative presentation, “Nanocellulose: Bacteria at the Service of the Future,” which explores how microscopic organisms are set to revolutionise our world. A highlight of the opening will be discussions on cancer, moderated by leading experts such as Professor Jacek Jassem.
Among a great number of stands and presentations, the ICCVS will have two exciting stands as part of the CANVAS project, showcasing knowledge on Neoantigen Discovery and Cellular Therapies. Discover how cells are being transformed into medicines, offering hope for future treatments. You can find our stands at University of Gdańsk, Biology Department main hall, on Wita Stwosza 59 street.
