Join us on 10th January 2025, for Biologists’ Night! Come and meet our scientists during this interesting event.
Biologists’ Night is a nationwide initiative that brings together scientific centers from all over Poland to explore this year’s theme: “The Biology of Climate Change: The Heated… The Losers?” On this occasion, students and staff from the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG and MUG and the Faculty of Biology have prepared a range of diverse and engaging shows, games, experiments, and lectures.
The International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science, as in previous years, will captivate visitors with its stand, where participants can discover the fascinating world of cellular therapies.
What are cellular therapies?
These represent one of the most advanced treatments for cancer. Our scientists will demonstrate how they search for anti-cancer cells in the blood of patients. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn the basics of operating a flow cytometer and even try sorting a population of cancer-fighting cells themselves!
