The International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science is an interdisciplinary graduate department engaged in translational medicine at the University of Gdansk. The centre supports the translation of our research into clinical practice by actively bridging distinct fields of study. This philosophy is at the heart of ICCVS, with research embracing diverse fields including physics, engineering, chemistry, mathematics, biology and medicine. Our research involves combining fundamental investigations in the biological sciences with collaborations in the physical sciences to address problems in medicine and cancer vaccine science. Through partnerships with clinician scientists at The University of Edinburgh and the Medical University of Gdansk as well as at other partner institutions we ensure that ICCVS research is undertaken with a clear clinical question in mind.
