About the event:
ICCVS is launching a new project, ‘Enhancing Cancer Vaccine Science for New Therapy Pathways’ (CANVAS) in partnership with the University of Rome Tor Vergata (UNITOV) in Italy, the Commission for Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy (CEA) in France and Polish biotech start-up Real Research Sp. z o.o.
The CANVAS project funded by the European Commission within the Horizon Europe programme aims to significantly increase the scientific potential and gain new research tools that will contribute to the progress of research on cell therapy of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
The CANVAS Kick-off Meeting will consist of a scientific symposium on the 18th October and a technical working meeting of the consortium members on the 19th October 2022. The scientific symposium will be composed of scientific presentations from each of the partner institutions of the CANVAS consortium with a keynote lecture by one of the CANVAS advisory members: prof. Eva Martínez-Cáceres from Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
At the same time, ICCVS is celebrating this October its 5th anniversary and invites ICCVS staff, students, and partners for a get together on this occasion on the 18th October 2022.
