The University of Gdańsk and the International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science is enriched by new PhD graduate. The ICCVS PhD student Kenneth Weke has been awarded a PhD degree. He publicly defended his theses on 15th March 2024, receiving a degree in the discipline of Biological Sciences.
Kenneth wrote his thesis on “Expanding the proteome: Advancing proteomics methodologies to uncover new insights into cancers”. The research was done at the ICCVS and reviewed by Prof. dr hab. Ryszard Tomasz Smoleński – Medical University of Gdansk, Poland, Prof. Hookeun Lee – Department of Pharmacy, Gachon University, South Korea and prof. Thibault Mayor – Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, University of British Columbia, Canada.
The supervision of Kenneth work has been provided by prof. dr Theodore Hupp and dr Sachin Kote from the International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science.
