Doctor Artur Piróg from the International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science (ICCVS) received funding in the competition MINIATURA 4 for preliminary research in the amount of PLN 41800 for his project “Detection of precursors of peptides presented by MHC molecules”.

Artur Piróg describes his project as follows: The aim of the project is to test and optimize methods that can be applied to detect the precursors of peptides presented by MHC. Till now, the pathways leading to presentation of immunopeptides are largely unknown. We wish to identify the unknown, non-canonical translation products that may be a direct source of these peptides.

MINIATURA is a competition for a single scientific activity, organized by the National Science Center (NCN). The competition is addressed to people with a doctoral degree who plan to apply for funding for future research projects in the competitions of the National Science Center.
