MSc Łukasz Arcimowicz from ICCVS has been awarded with UGrants – first 3 funding. Received grant will allow to perform additional preliminary experiments, helping to obtain external funding. MSc Łukasz Arcimowicz is currently working on deciphering the cross-talk between cancer and the immune system in non-small cell lung cancer as part of his PhD project at the ICCVS.

The Small Grants Program – UGrants is implemented as part of the IDUB program at the University of Gdańsk. The UGrants competitions are dedicated to doctoral students and academic teachers depending on the advancement of their research career were established. The program allows to receive funding for preliminary research and preparatory activities aimed at planning a research project and obtaining funds for its implementation.
