Description of the PhD program (Gdańsk Students)

ICCVS’s PhD programme is part of the Life Sciences and Mathematics Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies, conducted by the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of University of Gdańsk and Medical University of Gdańsk. Students in the programme are supervised by an international team of researchers from ICCVS Gdańsk as well as its international partner institutes. Regular meetings, seminars and workshops are held at the University of Gdansk and often include updates from ICCVS students and staff as well as world renowned guest speakers.

The programme is now is in its second year with students from over 13 countries taking part in a range of academic and non-academic training courses on offer. This includes courses like MSBM (Mass spectrometry in Biotechnology and Medicine training course) and OPTIMA: Grand Challenge (natural products medicine business course mentored by Dr Alexander Kagansky from Russia).
